Legends Catering is committed to exceeding your expectations.

We do this by striving to not only meet your needs but to surpass them in everyway.

Your event is as special to us as it is to you. We will help you with all of your needs and any of your concerns.

Pricing

Our pricing system is a per person charge or a portion size charge.
The difference between these two is a guarantee.
A per person fee is charged to the number of guest you have at your event. We guarantee we will supply enough servings to feed all of those people. We will bring a small amount extra to ensure this.
Our portion size fee is based on a recommended serving size. (This is not the same sizing scale that you see on your cereal box, or potato chip bag. We don't think 3 chips is a serving for anyone)
Therefore we do not guarantee that everyone will get the same amount of food or that there will be enough food for everyone. (for example: Our cheese tray serves 25people. We cut several pounds of different cheeses into small bite size cubes. The serving size per person for a displayed cheese tray is about 5-10 pieces per hour. This number can change if there are other hors d' oeuvres, if the cheeses are being butlered, if there is a bar, etc.
So a cheese tray that will have 300 pieces of cheese, may be enough for 50 people or it may run out.
We will not have a back up supply of any items that are purchased in a portion size.

Our pricing is subject to change without notice. Once a deposit has been received and an event booked with us, our prices are still subject to change. This is due only to the wide fluctuation of food costs.

Payment

We ask for a $500.00 deposit at the time of booking. This holds your date and time. This deposit will go towards final payment of your event. This deposit has a 3 day refund only, after which the deposit is non-refundable.

We require a 50% payment 1 month prior to the event. At this time we will meet and discuss all the arrangements and menus and guest count. You may still

change minor details after this time.

The remaining balance of 40% is required 1 week prior to the event.

Guaranteed Guest Count is Required at this time. Any drop in guest count after this point with not change the price of the event. All details are to be set at this time.

Alcohol

According to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board laws, a company not owning a liquor license issued by the P.L.C.B. is unable to purchase, transport, or sell any alcoholic products in the state. We therefore can not provide alcohol to any event we are contracted for.

We can provide bar services to serve alcoholic beverages. Please refer to our Bar Services. We are not responsible for any alcohol or the persons consuming

the alcohol at any time. Our staff is trained to adhere to all P.L.C.B. laws. We will refuse service to any patron that is visibly intoxicated or under the age of 21 that

does not provide prove of age. We are not responsible for guest that drink and drive. We ask that you make arrangements for transportation of any of your guest that may intend to consume alcoholic beverages during your event.

Guaranteed Guest Count

A guest count is required at time of booking an event. This number should be a reasonable assumption of the number of guests your will have during the event.

Another guest count is required at the 1 month prior meeting. This again may change after this point. We ask that you try to be as accurate as you can. This is not only used for food purchases but staffing levels, equipment needs, table layouts, flow of guests throughout the event, timing of things and being prepared.

Guaranteed Guest Count is required 1 week prior to the event. Any drop in the guest count after this point will not change the price of the event.

Any drop in guest count after this point will not change the price of the event. An increase in guest count after this point will result in an extra charge up to double the per person cost of the event for each person over the Guaranteed Guest count. (Guaranteed Guest Count 100p x $25pp. Additional guest 10p Result 10p x $50.00 = $500.00 additional fee) We also cannot guarantee the same menu selection.

In the event a guest is unable to attend, upon request we may provide that meal for you to take home with you for that person. This is provided the guest was a part of the Guaranteed Guest Count.

Vendors Meals

We are not responsible in providing vendor meals. We appreciate all our fellow vendors and the jobs they do. In mutual respect for them we offer vendor meals at a discount or we can provide another type of meal if that would be easier to consume for the vendor. (a sandwich, wrap, chips etc)

This is your decision to provide them or not. You can always work out an arrangement with the vendor and their fees.

Extra Food

Your menu choice will determine if the extra food will be available for you to take with you. If you choose menu items that are priced as a set number of pieces, the extras are yours to do with as you choose. Served dinners do not have extra for you to take with you. Buffets that are priced per person do not have extras for you

to take with you. Your price per person buffet is a reasonable meal per person. We provide a reasonable size portion per person. Buffets that are purchased by

quantity (Holiday parties are a good example) are to feed a set number of people, this we do not guarantee, the extras are yours to take with you.

Damages

Any and all damages caused by your guest that occur to our equipment, flatware, china, or linens will be the responsibility of yours and yours alone. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee for any and all damages to fix or replace or equipment.

Refunds

We do not provide refunds. We do not provide refunds for drop in guest count. We do not provide refunds for deposits after 3 days. We do not provide refunds

for issues that occur during the event. We do not provide refunds for issues that occur with another vendor.

We are sorry to be so blunt about this policy. This is a result from less than moral people attempting to get something for nothing after the fact.
